Choose a grip that feels right

When comparing replacement grips, consider the finished handle size as well as the colour. A thicker wrap adds more material around the handle, while a thinner option keeps the feel closer to the underlying handle. Your preference may also depend on whether you use batting gloves.

Maintain your setup through the season

Inspect the grip for loose edges, wear and movement before use. Replace a worn wrap rather than relying on a stronger squeeze to keep control of the handle. For number stickers, check dimensions and the manufacturer's guidance on suitable surfaces.
